2 custom mirrors for 6ft & almost 7ft bathroom vanities.
Everything from first contact, to measurements, quote, installation, and final payment was seamless & easy. The guy who measured asked questions and provided excellent advice on sizing and placement. The guys that did installation were very efficient & both mirrors look awesome! Everyone I spoke to or communicated with via email, was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. The online payment options made it very easy to take care of invoices. Highly recommend!

Great people to work with! They replaced 5 windows after hail damage. They showed up on time and kept me informed along the way. Great attention to detail--they even touched up the paint around the windows after the installation.

Window Repair

Damaged screens

Window screens are an important feature of a window. They keep bugs, birds, leaves, and debris out. They also keep things indoors, such as important office papers and our indoor pets. Window screens are also a reminder to us that there's an open window here, so be careful. A damaged window screen, be it bent, torn, or cracked, allows for any of these things to pass freely. If you have a damaged window screen, for your home or office, made of fiberglass or aluminum, we mostly likely can repair or replace it.

Seal drafts

No only likes wasting money. That's exactly what's happening when there's a draft - your hard-earned money is going right out the window. We go to great lengths to make our homes, offices, or commercial buildings as energy efficient as possible. In today's warming climate, it's important to make sure there are no drafts around windows and doors. We can find and seal drafts you might have around your door or window.

Condensation

Condensation forms on windows when humid air comes in contact with a cold surface. The humid, warm air inside collides with a cold window pane, because it's cold outside! Condensation forms when there's a cold surface the moisture can collect on.

Single pane windows are notorious for condensation build-up. If you have single pane windows, we highly recommend replacing them with double or triple pane windows. Although double or triple pane windows cost more initially than single pane ones, you will save some money in your energy bill.

To prevent condensation, replace any single pane windows with double or triple pane ones. If you already have double or triple pane windows, they might not be functioning correctly. If this is your case, contact us for a free inspection and estimate.

If your doors and windows are fine, you might just have a lot of humidity in your home. In this case, there are things you can do to reduce your humidity.

a new window being installed in house

Doesn't Operate Correctly

If you have a window that doesn't open or close easily, gets stuck open or close, or doesn't close completely, it could be one of a number problems. If you have wooden windows, and notice they sometimes stick or are hard to open and close, this is because they are swelling and shrinking as the humidity changing in your house. This is common with wooden windows. Again, the trick is controlling the humidity.

Or, if you'd rather not deal with this fluctuation, we can replace your wooden windows with more reliable aluminum or vinyl ones 🙂 .

If your window gets stuck open or closed, it could be because it either wasn't installed correctly or the wall it's in has shifted. Windows that don't quite close completely are often not perfectly square and level. We see this often on newer windows that weren't installed correctly, or on older windows in homes that have settled. Those windows may have been installed correctly 20 years ago, but the foundation of the house has settled and as a result, the wall isn't perfectly level any more.

Another frequent problem we see that causes windows to not function properly is failing hardware. It's somewhat common for fasteners (that's a fancy word for screws) to slowly turn out of hardware, such as latches and locks, and as a result, it doesn't shut or lock properly.

Glass Replacement

Glass is not 100% break proof. Sometimes accidents happen and you need some glass replaced. Whether it's a piece of glass in the front door to your home or your department store, or a window to your basement or office, we can take care of you. Our workmanship is warrantied for 1 year and our glass seals are warrantied for 10 years, so you're in good hands when you work with us.

Water Leaks

One of the important things a window does is keep water out. When your window develops a water leak, this is a serious problem and should be addressed right away. If water is coming through or around your window, it's often because a seal is failing or is missing. (Believe it or not, we have seen new windows installed, not by us, without a seal.) This is common with older windows. If you have a newer window that's letting water in, it probably wasn't installed correctly (which means it wasn't installed by us 🙂 . Regardless, if your window is letting water in, we can probably fix it for you.
