We offer frameless enclosures with 3/8" or 1/2" glass. All glass is tempered for your safety and protection. Why tempered glass? Regular glass, also called annealed glass, its shattered pieces are sharp and jagged, and can easily cut your skin. Tempered glass, on the other hand, breaks into pebble-shaped pieces which are much less dangerous and more easily swept-up. Once tempered glass is fabricated, it can not be altered, however.

We also offer low iron glass (Starphire, etc.). Low iron glass is clearer than standard clear glass. When comparing standard glass with low iron glass side-by-side, standard glass appears to have a slight green or blue tint to it.

Frameless shower enclosures are easier to clean than grout, tile, stone, etc. A flat and smooth surface is always easier to clean than a textured or profiled surface. That said, a factory applied glass coating is available for easier cleaning.

No two showers are the same. No wall is perfectly straight and no floor is perfectly level. That's why all our frameless shower enclosures are custom, made to fit your exact shower. This means tighter seals and gaps, and a better end product 🙂 What's more, shower glass and hardware carry a 1 year warranty.

Shower Enclosure Servicing and Repair

Nothing lasts forever. Accidents happen. Maybe the kids are too hard on the shower door and the hinges or handle need adjusting or replaced. Common repairs include replacing broken glass, or adjusting or replacing failing hardware. Depending on what needs fixed, we can usually repair it or offer a cost effective replacement piece of glass or hardware.

Frameless Shower Enclosure Advantages

A frameless shower enclosure has many advantages. When clear glass is used, they make your bathroom look bigger. Of course, if privacy is a concern, obscured glass is an option. They're also safer than traditional bathtubs, because there's no bathtub side to step over. They also offer a cleaner look because there's no shower curtain or metal frame.

If you use clear glass so you can see your shower walls and floor from outside the shower, and it gives you the opportunity to do something special with the shower walls and floor. For example, you can have polished river stones on the floor or unique tiling on the wall. If you'd like to personalize your shower enclosure even more, you can have your glass etched with a privacy band or a design.
