BBB Review
Chateau did an amazing job for us. They replaced windows at two of our stores. One of the stores had a film on 3 of their windows that we have worked hours on trying to get the film removed. We asked if they could take a look at the windows and give us a suggestion on how we can remove the film. When they came to replace the broken window, their crew was able to remove the film off all 3 windows. Now it looks like we have 4 new windows. Thanks Chateau!!

New Glass Installation Options
Inside
If your storefront doesn't face the outside, non-thermal glass is often recommended. Our non-thermal storefront option is 1/4" glazing. This means the glass itself is 1/4" thick. The overall depth or thickness of the glass system, including the aluminum frame, is 4 1/2".
Outside
Thermal and extra thermal glass is recommended for those storefronts that face the outside, due to its insulation and security properties. You have a number of thermal and extra-thermal options to choose from, including energy-efficient, burglary-resistant, Multi-Plane, blast-resistant and more. Contact us to discuss your specific needs and our recommendation.
Any of our non-thermal, thermal, or extra thermal storefront glass can be annealed, tempered, laminated, or tempered and laminated. Annealed glass is regular glass - it has not be strengthened or hardened and offers the least break protection. When annealed glass shatters, it produces long, sharp pieces.
Tempered Glass
Tempered glass is a safety glass that's been hardened or toughened. It's more durable than annealed glass. The surface of tempered glass is 4 times stronger than annealed glass. It should be noted that when tempered glass breaks, however, it shatters into tiny pieces.
Laminated Glass
Laminated glass is also a safety glass. The advantage of laminated glass is that, when it breaks, it stays together with the help of an interlayer of resin between its layers of glass.
Tempered and Laminated Glass
The last safety glass we offer is tempered laminated glass. This safety glass is, as the name implies, both tempered and laminated. It's much stronger than annealed glass and, it if does shatter, it holds together for everyone's safety.
You can also choose between clear glass, or bronze, gray or green tinted glass, or satin etched (frosted). What's more, we offer various low-e options. Low-e refers to glass with a low-emissivity coating. This coating helps reduce heat gain or loss by reflecting infrared light which improves the insulation of your glass.

Storefront Glass FAQs
Q. I'd like our logo etched on a piece of glass installed. Is this something you can do?
A. Absolutely. Whether it's your logo or some other artwork, just send us the artwork, preferably in vector format, including where you'd like it on the glass, how big you'd like, etc. and we'll take care it. There will be an additional charge, however. đŸ˜‰
Q. Do you offer storefront glass with any obscuring or privacy?
A. We do! In addition to clear glass, we also offer tinted bronze-gray-green glass, and satin etch (frosted). These are great options when you want to let some light in, but don't necessarily want passers-by to see in. This is a great option for boardrooms, checkout dividers, and inner office walls.
Q. What's your turnaround to install storefront glass?
A. Actual installation time only takes a few hours per piece of glass. However, from ordering to clean-up, plan on 3-4 weeks for your common size storefront glass.
